4th of July

Every 4th of July our neighborhood has a parade to celebrate America!
This year both kiddos rode their bicycles.
When we got there, several of the men (boys) had on matching shirts.
Before the parade, we said the pledge and had a moment of silence for those who serve.
Then we were ready! Emma-Glenn got a little help from Daddy.
Wallace was on his own.
When we got back from the parade, we had yummy snacks and played with our friends. Wallace and Lulu.
Lulu, Wallace and Mattie.
Emma-Glenn and Hudson.
Emma-Glenn, Abby, Hudson, Mattie, and Wallace.
Emma-Glenn especially liked the ice cream!
Next Mr. Stewart, our host, took the kids on a tractor ride. Wallace was the first one in line!
Then we headed to our house for pizza and more playing outside.
Only Emma-Glenn rides like this!
We had plans to go to the fireworks but since they didn't start until 10pm we decided it was not worth keeping them up and we headed off to bed around 8:30. Maybe next year!
