Wallace's Spring Program

Wallace was so excited about his program at school this year! He kept telling us that he was going to "wave with both hands" when he came into the sanctuary.

Here he is waving with both hands!

Waiting patiently for his turn to go on stage.
Emma Hensley and Wallace ready to sing!
Singing, open, shut them, put them in your lap!

I was SO glad that it was over and that Wallace behaved! He did such a good job and we were so proud of our little ham!
The grandparents...Meme and Grandpa had to leave early.

Egg Hunt

After painting eggs with Papa and Pitty-Pat we headed to the Robert's for an egg hunt.
At least everyone is looking in this picture, that is hard these days.
Sister chillin in her stroller.
On your mark, get set,
I found one! He had to shake each egg to make sure there was something in it!
Looking for more.
Wallace had fun rolling down the hill.
Playing in the jumpy house and taking a ride on Put's back to get out.
Being a boy and rolling in the grass is too much fun!
Emma-Glenn enjoyed playing with Mary Reed and Afton (not pictured).
A view from the top! Thanks Robert's for a fun afternoon!!!

My Little Artist

The Sunday before Easter, we went to Papa and Pitty-Pat's house to paint eggs.
So excited to be painting!
This was the outcome...he did add some colored dots and Pitty-Pat put the finishing touches on it for him! It turned out fabulous!
Emma-Glenn even got a turn.
Trying to get her fingers to spread out was difficult.
Her egg.
Sharing some laughs
and some serious looks with Papa.
So after Wallace painted the egg, he just wanted to paint and these are just a few of his masterpieces. He painted his foot and did this one and another one.
And he painted his hands and created this masterpiece. I am glad that he has some artistic ability because his mother is sure lacking in that area :) We look forward to many more days of painting with Pitty-Pat!

Egg Hunt at Gigi and Sir's House

These two little rascals couldn't wait to go hunt eggs!
Found one
T-R-O-U-B-L-E never looked so cute and sweet!

These two cousins have such a good time when they are together!

After hunting eggs, we came in for a delicious lunch and treasure hunt inside.
The boy's found their treasure under the bed and in the bathtub.
Excited to get a water gun!
Play clothes time....let the fun begin!

Each year when we are all together at Easter, we have a "beer egg hunt" for the adults. This is the first year in a while that everyone has had a beer because someone has been pregnant. Ok, so this year we only had one but it is still fun. We hunt for money, forget the candy!

Counting our loot!
The kids think we are crazy but it sure is fun! They don't always get to have all the fun!
