WALLACE'S SPECIAL BIRTHDAY DAY

Wallace woke up and was so excited that he was finally three! After bible study, daddy came home with
this awesome toy story balloon and a dozen doughnut holes! Wallace ate every last one.
Since his party will be in a couple of weeks, we let him open his present from us...
a plasma car. Yes, the directions say do not ride on hard wood floors but when it decides to rain, you just have to break the rules.
Against Wallaces wishes, Emma-Glenn wanted a turn too!
After trying out his present, we got dressed and headed to Gigi's cupcakes in Huntsville. I have no pictures because I took my camera but left my sim card at home....go figure. The goal was to get some cupcakes for dinner and come home so we could go swim but we had to eat one right then. So by 11 am, Wallace had eaten a dozen doughnut holes and a Gigi's cupcake. We hurried home so we could burn some of that energy at the pool!
Several of Wallace's friends were there to play. Emma Hensley and Wallace were saying "to infinity and beyond"
then going under and sitting on the step. This was such a fun game and entertained them for quite a while.
Then we took a break to refuel. I don't know what was so funny!
How fun to finally be three! We will be celebrating with this cute chick in a few weeks!
What sweet friends!

Wouldn't you love to know the conversation that was going on?!?
Wallace had so much fun at the pool and we had to call it quits after a bee bop and go home to take a nap. After a good long 2 hour nap, we went to pick up sister and Gigi to come back to our house to have dinner with Sir.
While we were waiting we played outside for as long as we could stand it!

After dinner, we all had a cupcake to eat. When we went to get the cupcakes, they did not have the one with blue icing so we ended up with the pink icing. Hey, boys like pink too!
After cup cakes, Wallace opened his presents from Gigi and Sir. A toy box, a Buzz light year and a book. Look how excited!
Filling up his toy box.

We look so lovely here...straight from the pool to nap, then up to play.

Concentrating, always have the tongue out when we are working hard.

This is the look I saw all day from this sweet boy. He had the best day and we cannot wait to celebrate again on the 14th! (notice the lovely tractor pull shirt, that post to come)
***I did not leave Whitt out of the pictures, he had to go out of town for business. We missed you daddy!
