The Rest of the Weekend

Sunday morning, the balloons did fly but I ran out of the house with no camera. Wallace and I met up with the rest of the family and chased the balloons and watched them land. The boys thought this was so much fun! After a little ballooning, we went back to Gigi and Sirs house and played some more!

After naps, everyone headed to our house to grill out and play. They played in the pool for a while but everyone was exhausted and not in the best moods, so we loaded them up in the wagon to go for a ride. We called it an early night, EG was already asleep in this picture.
Monday, we headed to the park and splash pad. We were there early so it was sort of nice not to have the crowd. But by the time we left it was packed!
Poor EG, was taking a nap in this picture too :)

Memorial Weekend

As Wallace would say "nerd mommy" LOVES hot air balloons and is always excited for the Jubilee! Thankfully my children seem to like it too. We were up bright and early Saturday morning to see some balloons!
Ready to go!
The girls even made it :)
Gigi and the boys walking to the field.
We got to the field to hear that the balloons weren't flying b/c of the threat of rain but a few balloons decided to inflate on the field. This made the children just as happy.
Sir and the girls.The family.
When the balloons were finished, we had to go jump. Wallace was not so sure at first
but with a little help from daddy, he bounced to the sky
and did not want to get down when it was finished.
Next we headed to Gigi and Sirs house to play.
While Sir inflated the pool, we played with silly string.
Then it was time for the pool.
Wallace kept his mouth open the whole time!

After nap, we went back to Gigi and Sirs house to cook-out and play some more. The boys had fun painting but
Louisa had the most fun!
Back to the pool for some more fun with Sir!
We didn't do it :)
After dinner, we made smores in the fire pit and the girls rode the Barbie car. Louisa was just fine until Emma-Glenn decided to join her :) This was a VERY busy day and we were glad our cousins were here to share it with us! These are the times I wish I could bottle up and keep forever!!!

Cousins

My sister and her family came home for Memorial Weekend on Thursday and Wallace couldn't wait for Soles to come over and play in his pool and on his swing set.
Soles took a flying leap from the slide into the pool
and Wallace followed.

Then it was time to swing (yes, Emma-Glenn was napping again).
Louisa was happy sitting in the fire truck.

The boys LOVE to wrestle and spend most of their time tackling each other.

Catch Up

We have been doing a little relaxing
a little working at Eloise and Henry
a little sleeping (with our 2nd ear infection since Spring Break)
a lot of playing outside
and a little swimming!

The grand finale!
While Wallace was swimming, this sweet girl was taking a nap
and she is always so happy when she wakes up!
Who ever would have known that we have a 3rd "child"? This was my first baby and she just had her 5th birthday (that I actually forgot). We love you LULU!

Spring Break 2010

Last minute, I called my sister to see what they were doing for the week of our Spring Break. Thankfully they were doing nothing and her in-laws house at the beach was vacant so that is where we headed. The boys waiting oh so patiently, devising a plan for the afternoon.
So excited to be out of the car!!!

This was sister's second trip to the beach...her first trip, she was only 3 months old. She LOVED crawling around and eating the sand!
An attempt to get a picture together.
Cool Dude.
All four of them playing together, something you NEVER see!
Wallace filled up this bucket many times in the few days we were there.
Emma-Glenn even wanted to help!
I thought she might want to try out the water but it was pretty cold.

Snack time
Thankfully we didn't see this too much!
We saw more of this (except for when we were inside and they couldn't keep their hands off of each other b/c they were wrestling).
It was cloudy and chilly in the afternoons but perfect to run from the birds.
Of course the day we left, the water was like a lake and not a cloud in the sky!
