Santa's Village

On Monday, my sister and her family, minus Andy (he came later), came to Decatur for Christmas.
We are always looking for entertainment so we headed to Santa's Village in Huntsville. We have never gone and we thought this year the kids would all enjoy it!
Sir with his boys.
When we got there, the first place we headed was to see Santa. Along the way, we ran into the gingerbread man and an elf.
The kids waiting to see Santa.
Finally, it was their turn. You can never tell Santa enough what you want!
After we saw Santa, we went and decorated cookies.
Then ate them!
It even started snowing and Emma-Glenn tried to catch the snowflakes on her tongue.
They were so excited to sit in Santa's sleigh and see the reindeer!
After checking out the rest of Santa's Village, we listened to a few carols before we went home.
As you can see, this girl was tired and ready for bed!

Chruch Program and Ashwander Christmas Party

We had a busy Sunday night! First stop, church Christmas program. Wallace was a sheep this year and sang a few songs but his favorite was Go Tell It On The Mountain!
Waving to Emma-Glenn.
I wish I knew what in the world Mattie and Wallace were talking about!
Whatever it was, everyone else wanted to get in on the secret too :)
SANTA!!!
Next stop, Ashwander Christmas Party. After a quick bite to eat, Santa showed up again!
Emma-Glenn wasn't sure what to think about Santa at first.
She was pretty clingy but still wanted to talk to him.
Finally she warmed up enough to sit in his lap.
Wallace trying to remember everything on his list....batcave, leappad, scooter with no training wheels, and chocolate money.
Emma-Glenn's list was a little shorter...a scooter like Weeza's (louisa's) and chocolate money (just because it was on Wallaces list).
Then all of a sudden, all of her fear went away and she would NOT leave Santa alone. This is one of my favorite pictures of her from Christmas with Santa and Bun Bun.
Telling Santa bye!
After Santa left, I got a few snuggles from baby John. Wallace was so sweet loving on him. Then John smiled at him and Wallace kept making faces at him trying to make him laugh again. It is hard to believe that I used to think John's mommy was my baby when I was younger!
The "kid" picture.
The parent picture.
What another fun Ashwander Christmas Party! Wonder who will have a new addition next year?!?

School Christmas Parties

Friday, December 16 was the last day of school before Christmas, which meant party time!
My first stop was Wallace's party...what a cute little class!
Before they had their snack, they iced sugar cookies...his tongue is out which means he is really concentrating!
After some sprinkles, it was time to eat!
Then it was time to go to Emma-Glenn's party. Ashley Collins and I were in charge of her party. Poor Hudson was sick so he had to miss the party.
Her sweet class!
Miss Mary and Emma-Glenn doing the reindeer pokey (putting their antlers in).
And their hooves in.
And finally, putting your tail in! What a cute song and cute girl to perform it for me :)
