On Sunday, we decided we needed some family time so we skipped church and went to the 11:00 showing of the Lion King 3D. Since it was only in the theater for two weeks, we had limited time to go see it and this was the only day that worked for us.
The movie has been in the Disney vault ever since Wallace was born and Whitt has been so excited about Wallace seeing the movie. This was also Emma-Glenn's first time to go to a movie in the theater!
Ready for the movie with their 3D glasses on. After loading up with popcorn, candy, and drinks we were ready! When we walked into the theater it was dark and the previews were playing. I had an armful of popcorn and Emma-Glenn just stopped and wasn't going anywhere because it was so dark and she couldn't see. The look on her face was priceless! After Whitt and Wallace sat down, he had to come back and coax her to her seat. I wasn't sure if she would sit through the whole movie but she did GREAT! They both loved the movie and I was so proud of both of them.
After the movie, we headed to ride the carousel.
What a great way to spend a Sunday morning! Now we can't wait for it to come out on DVD!!!
