Spring Break

The kids and I left early Sunday morning and headed to the beach. When met my sister and her kids there and were in for a fun couple of days. Sir and Gigi sent boogie boards for everyone!

We were looking a little ragged when we got there. Sister lost a button along the way.

We could not change clothes fast enough to get to the beach. Everyone had their own bucket to play with.

Emma-Glenn wasn't real sure about walking on the sand.

But Wallace knew just what to do!

The long drive was worth it to see the excitement on all of their faces when we got there!

Emma-Glenn quickly warmed up to the sand and the water, as long as it was in the hole that someone had already dug.

She would have NOTHING to do with going in or near the ocean.

We are very grateful for whoever dug these great big holes along the beach because it provided hours of entertainment!!!

Emma-Glenn was content just sitting in a chair most of the time.

They took turns filling up their buckets and dumping the water in the hole for sister.

Wallace even built a few sandcastles.

We had lots of sandy snacks on the beach.

The girls liked chasing the birds.

One night we went down the street to Alys beach and played at "the dog park".

These two love climbing the hill.

The girls even got in on the action.

The next morning, we had the breakfast of champions...powdered doughnuts!!!

And did a little painting with color wonder paint.

Then we headed to the beach for some more fun!

I ventured into the water with these two.

While sassy stayed on the sand.

Louisa LOVES the water too so Wallace took a break and Louisa got a turn.

We had such a good time with Aunt Mamma, Soles and Louisa and can't wait to go back to the beach again! Thanks for having us Mamma!!!
