Christmas Morning/Afternoon

This was the beautiful scenery when we got to my parents house.
Yes, my child had on a night gown with no tights in the snow.
The first thing we did was eat orange rolls for breakfast. Then we popped the poppers.
Everyone got a prize and a crown.
Waiting patiently on Gigi to put presents out.
Emma-Glenn was so excited to get another stroller and a baby bag for the back of it. She was also excited to get another box, a kitchen.
Wallace was so excited to get an ATAT and a Smart Cycle.
I think this was a Star Wars Christmas for Wallace.
Whitt and I were excited to get a new tv!
The boys!
Soles got a Nintendo DS and was so sweet to share his new toy with Wallace. We are getting there...slowly!
The family!

Christmas Morning

SANTA CAME!!!
Sassy got clothes for herself, clothes for baby, baby accessories and more. Wallace got lots of Toy Story 3 figures, Star Wars figures, games and more. Wow, all the little pieces that come with the Star Wars figures! I quickly swept those away into a bag, not to come out again until he is much older!
Whitt and I woke up at 5:45 so we could make coffee and make sure everything was set. My parents used to wake us up to Kenny Rogers Christmas in America on Christmas morning so that is what we do too. We woke them up at 6:15 or so. You can see miss priss in the background not so happy! When we woke up it was raining and by the time we opened presents and opened the blinds the ground was covered in snow!
Wallace seeing all of his stuff! He was so excited about his gator. Emma-Glenn was excited about her baby changing station.
Opening stockings.
Feeding baby.
Sitting on the gator.
***Santa didn't realize the battery had to charge for 18 hours so they did a lot of sitting until the next day. PITIFUL!
Daddy in Emma-Glenn's jewelry.
Watching it snow. I was SOOO excited about a white Christmas. I kept telling Wallace to remember this because it may never happen again. It made Christmas that much more fun and memorable. I couldn't get over it! I felt like a kid again.
Opening presents from each other. Wallace picked out a baby doll with accessories for Emma-Glenn and she picked out Toy Story 3 figures for Wallace.
After opening presents and playing for a while, we were off to Gigi and Sirs in the snow.
Once we got on the roads we realized they were pretty slick and it took us forever to get there! It snowed ALL morning...how magical!!!

Christmas Eve cont.

We were ready for bed and Santa but first we had to sprinkle our reindeer food in the yard.
Wallace was very careful sprinkling his food in the grass.
When we were done with that, we headed inside to put out cookies and milk for Santa and carrots for the reindeer.
Wallace was very tempted to eat them himself.
Emma-Glenn was thinking the same thing.
After hugs and goodnight kisses we were off to bed.

Christmas Eve Day and Night

Christmas Eve Day, my parents had our family (from both sides) over for brunch. After stuffing ourselves, it was time to play and open presents.
My cousin Will got tackled by Soles and Wallace.
Emma-Glenn finally got her first stroller and a new baby that can go in the tub.
Wallace got a pillow pet and a race track.
After naps, we headed to church for the Christmas Eve service. Soles wanted to ride with us on the way home. It was precious listening to these two sing Christmas songs and talk about the lights on the way home.
When we got to Gigi and Sirs everyone was super excited!
We did manage to get some cute pictures though. The Wallaces.
You can tell who wouldn't cooperate for any pictures.
Soles and Louisa gave Wallace a Boba Fett helmet.
I think daddy was more excited than Wallace :)
Wallace trying it out.
Emma-Glenn even wanted to try. She could barely hold her head up. She got an art desk but because of her lack of cooperation there weren't any good pictures...plus it was in a box so it was hard to get excited.
After hugs and thank yous we took our dinner to go and headed home to bed so Santa could come.
